Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Skene's Sobah Conchas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gregory Mäder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 8th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Mexico's Joel Gaona slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gregory Mäder. That made the score 1-0 after 9 minutes of play. Gregory Mäder showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. In the 23rd minute, Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sobah Conchas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Felix Luque hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Patrik Johansson struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Dante Lacasa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Skene. When Lautaro Mancebo came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lautaro Mancebo couldn't finish the play. If Joel Gaona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Skene's Gregory Mäder got control of the ball when Lautaro Mancebo tried to sneak it across the goal line. 37 minutes into the game, Brian Martinsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Skene's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mexico the free kick. Gregory Mäder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luca Zorita in the 44th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joel Gaona stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alberto Tafalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Gregory Mäder tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mexico's Joel Gaona got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Joel Gaona's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gregory Mäder was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. Gregory Mäder came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo. But to his dismay, Lautaro Mancebo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. After a rather tough play, Skene's Per Johansson got a free kick in the 70th minute. Joel Gaona recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sobah Conchas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joel Gaona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gregory Mäder having to interfere. In the 77th minute, Lautaro Mancebo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gregory Mäder was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sobah Conchas in the 82nd minute of play. Luca Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gregory Mäder having to interfere. 90 minutes into the match, Skene's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Gregory Mäder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 93rd minute, Kurt Nordgren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Skene getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Patrik Johansson hit a great ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Mexico fully deserved thier win.
