In the 21st match minute, Average Joes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nils-Emil Gulliksson to maneuver through the defense. In the 32nd minute, Alberto Tafalla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 34 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Jo Blanchaert came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Facundo Cadaval got a free kick in the 38th minute. Average Joes's Victoriano Abel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 44th minute of play. Lautaro Mancebo took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Victoriano Abel. Victoriano Abel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1.

The wind increased when Arthur Saba made the kick off in the second half. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arthur Saba in the 51st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arthur Saba in the 52nd minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Victoriano Abel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arthur Saba charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arthur Saba the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Martin Morat kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 57th minute of play forced Average Joes's goalkeeper Victoriano Abel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 60th minute of the match, Alberto Tafalla tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Victoriano Abel saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Victoriano Abel made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Alberto Tafalla sent off a good shot on target. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yavuz Bülent Özger in the 65th minute of play. Victoriano Abel made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Lautaro Mancebo sent off a good shot on target. Lautaro Mancebo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Victoriano Abel made a huge save. In the 82nd minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victoriano Abel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yavuz Bülent Özger in the 84th minute of play. The supporters of Mexico booed when Average Joes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martin Morat didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Average Joes's Ganix Herrera got a free kick in the 88th minute. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeremias Silban in the 94th minute of play.
