Viktor Héj hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 4th minute of play forced demir idmanyurdu's goalkeeper Selmo Illescas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Prospero Perutxo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 9 minutes into the game, Nistor Conta recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dante Lacasa. Nistor Conta showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. After 12 played minutes demir idmanyurdu got a freekick which was hit by Nistor Conta. 13 minutes into the match, Joel Gaona notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of demir idmanyurdu's Selmo Illescas. Selmo Illescas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 16th play minutes Nistor Conta shot 2-1, a short shot which went by Dante Lacasa and just under the crossbar into goal. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Prospero Perutxo in the 18th minute of the match. Mexico's defense didn't have a chance, in the 20th minute, when Nistor Conta scored to the left of an out of position Dante Lacasa, making the score, 3-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Lautaro Mancebo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Lautaro Mancebo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Selmo Illescas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 29th minute, Lautaro Mancebo made a precise shot to the right of Selmo Illescas. demir idmanyurdu's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. Lautaro Mancebo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to demir idmanyurdu getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Azmi Bilkan hit a great ball. After 41 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Lautaro Mancebo. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Luca Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Luca Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Selmo Illescas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nistor Conta got free with Dante Lacasa in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lautaro Mancebo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joel Gaona to strike the kick off in the second half. Selmo Illescas was out of position in the 50 minute of play, and Joel Gaona capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Joel Gaona really showed his touch with that goal: 3-3. A nice corner shot did that Luca Rouco got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Selmo Illescas quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 59th minute Prospero Perutxo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 66th minute, Ulvi Nizami hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Selmo Illescas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Joel Gaona went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-4 was the resulting score. If Macos Graciani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Selmo Illescas. That made the score 4-6 after 76 minutes of play. Joel Gaona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Alberto Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 88th minute, Lorenzo Cazalla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Emil Bartochowski was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 89th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 92 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Prospero Perutxo came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 93rd match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberto Tafalla to maneuver through the defense. Mexico played a much better game than demir idmanyurdu and deserved their victory. The demir idmanyurdu players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
