Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) 3 minutes into the match, Hemse RK's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Sven-Åke Kjellbom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 4th minute Aleksander Lindholm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aleksander Lindholm in the 5th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Chile's Guillermo Fontirroig got a free kick in the 7th minute. With a little luck, Chile's Thiago Pliego got control of the ball when Aleksander Lindholm tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sven-Åke Kjellbom read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Xavier Figueroa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chile's supporters rose to their feet, but Xavier Figueroa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sven-Åke Kjellbom breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thiago Pliego stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aleksander Lindholm's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. 17 minutes into the match, Mariano Lacasa notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Hemse RK's Sven-Åke Kjellbom. Sven-Åke Kjellbom was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Chile's Thiago Pliego proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Chile from getting a goal against them. Orlando Casaus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Sven-Åke Kjellbom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 28th minute of the match, Harkaitz Arevalo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Thiago Pliego was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Sven-Åke Kjellbom showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 29th minute of the match. After 34 minutes, Aleksander Lindholm made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Chile's Thiago Pliego tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Hemse RK's Sven-Åke Kjellbom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 41st minute of play. Thiago Pliego made an important save on a dangerous shot by Harkaitz Arevalo in the 43rd minute. Harkaitz Arevalo in the 48thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Thiago Pliego, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Sven-Åke Kjellbom made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Guillermo Fontirroig sent off a good shot on target. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andy Cane in the 54th minute of the match. Mariano Lacasa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Sven-Åke Kjellbom made a huge save. In the 58th minute of the match Chile got a corner. Hemse RK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mariano Lacasa ran over to the corner to take the kick. 62 minutes into the match, Mariano Lacasa dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Sven-Åke Kjellbom, 1-3. Hemse RK's Frans Smedfeldt was substituted for Lirian Andonovski. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mariano Lacasa got free with Sven-Åke Kjellbom in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Through an outstanding action, after 72 minutes, Sven-Åke Kjellbom successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Sven-Åke Kjellbom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xavier Figueroa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hemse RK's Eddie Larsson was substituted for Andy Cane. Gabriel Hedlund hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. In the 81st minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven-Åke Kjellbom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 85thth minute of the game Aleksander Lindholm who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chile's Thiago Pliego was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 87 minutes into the game, Aleksander Samuelsson threw the ball into play from the sideline. Chile's Pedro Indiano quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Harkaitz Arevalo in the 89th minute of the match. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hemse RK's goalkeeper Sven-Åke Kjellbom, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the Hemse RK defense, Mariano Lacasa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sven-Åke Kjellbom. The Hemse RK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sven-Åke Kjellbom should have stopped the shot. In the 95th minute, Mariano Lacasa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sven-Åke Kjellbom was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5.
