Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Tomas Illescas made the kick off which started today's match. Teofilo Coleira did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant 3 minutes into the match. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Reuben Billington in the 9th minute. After 14 minutes, Nataniel Hormaza mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sugamuxi and the Venezuela players grew even worse after the yellow card. Nataniel Hormaza hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Patricio Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Justino Ungia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tomas Illescas struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Justino Ungia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. Sugamuxi's Justino Ungia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 30th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Reuben Billington in the 31st minute. In the 34th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Justino Ungia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Teofilo Coleira to make the kick off. Sugamuxi's Teofilo Coleira managed to work through Venezuela's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Teofilo Coleira dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Reuben Billington's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hori Guillemez in the 63rd minute of the match. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 69th minute of the game. One of Sugamuxi:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Venezuela:s goal. After a defensive mix-up in Sugamuxi's zone, Patricio Costa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Justino Ungia came out of the goal and Patricio Costa tried to chip the ball over his head. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Illescas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Justino Ungia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 92 minutes into the game, Sugamuxi's Nerio Doro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vedillo Galan during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 94 played minutes Sugamuxi got a freekick which was hit by Vedillo Galan. During the 96th minute of the match Nataniel Hormaza completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Nataniel Hormaza a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. When the referee ended the match the Sugamuxi players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
