Luz Tejedor was slow to take the kick. During this time Peru's players had a chance to rest. A well-hit corner resulted in Eliseo Mina heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. If Dumitru Chiriacescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Peru getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Efraim Gilabert hit a great ball. 24 minutes into the game, one of Peru:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 32 minutes into the match, RED BLUE STAR's goal looked a bit too open when Luz Tejedor came free, but Karol Pierz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, RED BLUE STAR's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Karol Pierz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dumitru Chiriacescu in the 66th minute of the match. Karol Pierz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luz Tejedor in the 68th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Luz Tejedor's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Karol Pierz was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. Through an outstanding action, after 84 minutes, Karol Pierz successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafael Gallo in the 84th minute of play forced RED BLUE STAR's goalkeeper Karol Pierz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emmanuel Reyes hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bacary Roudier, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Peru's Alonso Berganza managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Mürsel Oruz in the 89 minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Răzvan Spineanu in the 92nd minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alonso Berganza during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 96th minute, Alonso Berganza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Peru eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
