Limhamns Stjärnor's attentive Arvin Nordkvist managed to snatch the ball when Hugo Ferrant made a throw-in in the 4th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Limhamns Stjärnor's Nils-Emil Dahlbom got a free kick in the 5th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ove Dahlbom during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ove Dahlbom hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Vilhelm Drake charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vilhelm Drake the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Limhamns Stjärnor getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Vilhelm Drake hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Limhamns Stjärnor's zone, Lautaro Puig stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gustaf Sjödin came out of the goal and Lautaro Puig tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Costa Rica booed when Limhamns Stjärnor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Åke Pettersson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The corner led Limhamns Stjärnor's Ove Dahlbom to fire away a dangerous shot which Benito Sanz despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 27 minutes into the game, Hugo Ferrant threw the ball into play from the sideline. Limhamns Stjärnor's Arvin Nordkvist quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Limhamns Stjärnor's Arvin Nordkvist managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Hugo Ferrant in the 30 minute of the game. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Costa Rica from getting a goal against them. Lautaro Puig kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Aaron Alcocer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustaf Sjödin having to interfere. After 44 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Eliseo Noboa.

Limhamns Stjärnor made a substitution. Sven-Olof Holmberg replaced Nils-Emil Dahlbom. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ove Dahlbom stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Eliseo Noboa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Costa Rica's supporters rose to their feet, but Eliseo Noboa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gustaf Sjödin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Åke Pettersson hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Lautaro Puig recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Costa Rica's zone, Sven-Olof Holmberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Sanz came out of the goal and Sven-Olof Holmberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Costa Rica's Axel Tasis in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Limhamns Stjärnor's goalie prevented a goal. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven-Olof Holmberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. In the 73rd minute, Sven-Olof Holmberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Limhamns Stjärnor booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alan Moruga didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 87 minutes of play, Costa Rica's Lautaro Puig made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gustaf Sjödin was left in no man's land by his defense there! Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven-Olof Holmberg in the 96th minute of the match. The supporters of Limhamns Stjärnor booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alan Moruga didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Costa Rica had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
