Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfredo Mastrocola, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Julian Murillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Alfonso Nicolini made a huge save. Peru's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Luz Tejedor in the 12th minute. The corner ended in Milagros Fraga almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Deportivo De La Prugna's Alfonso Nicolini did a great save. Luz Tejedor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carlo Pellecchia in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rolando Noboa saved Peru from getting behind. Deportivo De La Prugna's Alfonso Nicolini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 20th minute of play. After 21 minutes, Ranko Tocos made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Peru's Rolando Noboa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 24 minutes into the game, Achille Micarelli threw the ball into play from the sideline. Peru's Eliseo Mina quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 25th minute, Luz Tejedor got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Deportivo De La Prugna's Alfonso Nicolini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 27th minute of play. Alfonso Nicolini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 30th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Deportivo De La Prugna's zone, Milagros Fraga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfonso Nicolini came out of the goal and Milagros Fraga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Joaquin Prats hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlo Pellecchia in the 40th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luz Tejedor in the 41st minute of play forced Deportivo De La Prugna's goalkeeper Alfonso Nicolini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carlo Pellecchia kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredo Mastrocola in the 48th minute of the match. The Peru players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Deportivo De La Prugna were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Julian Murillo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Deportivo De La Prugna's Alfonso Nicolini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luz Tejedor in the 56th minute of play. 56 minutes into the match, Luz Tejedor had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alfonso Nicolini. Deportivo De La Prugna's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luz Tejedor was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Peru's Luz Tejedor was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Alfonso Nicolini in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Eliseo Mina's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alfonso Nicolini read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. After 68 played minutes Peru got a freekick which was hit by Emmanuel Reyes. Deportivo De La Prugna made a substitution. Lukas Busk replaced Alfredo Mastrocola. Alfonso Nicolini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliseo Mina, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Rafael Gallo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfonso Nicolini having to interfere. In the 92nd minute Eliseo Mina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfonso Nicolini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lukas Busk in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rolando Noboa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Peru were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Deportivo De La Prugna for a fine match.
