In the 9th match minute, FC Luck was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Chiru to maneuver through the defense. After 10 played minutes, El Salvador's Mateo Leguizamo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Roch Cieslak came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in El Salvador reached it. Ricardo Zorita came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Luck's Sever Patriciu. But to his dismay, Sever Patriciu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. FC Luck's Vasile Târcă was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ricardo Zorita in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. If Sever Patriciu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC Luck's Roch Cieslak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moises Fernandino in the 30th minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, Sever Patriciu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ricardo Zorita. El Salvador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sever Patriciu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Luck's Sever Patriciu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ricardo Zorita. That made the score 3-0 after 39 minutes of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sever Patriciu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Narcis Voinescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Zorita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ricardo Zorita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Narcis Voinescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 55th minute, Narcis Voinescu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ricardo Zorita was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Ricardo Zorita came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Luck's Narcis Voinescu. But to his dismay, Narcis Voinescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sever Patriciu in the 63rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Narcis Voinescu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ricardo Zorita was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. After 68 minutes El Salvador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Vasile Târcă who took care of the corner kick. Sever Patriciu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Zorita having to interfere. Luis Rubio kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Narcis Voinescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sever Patriciu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Ricardo Zorita tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ricardo Zorita was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
