Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Inocencio Tarresola might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julio Vera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Azulgranas made a substitution. Victoriano Movilla replaced Sánchez Castruita. Inocencio Tarresola hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Francisco Berrios fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Juan Sebastián Puig kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Berrios, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Daniel Zorita hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Francisco Berrios in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 74 minutes into the game, one of Azulgranas:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Łukasz Fabiański had in the 76thth minute some difficulties stopping Daniel Zorita's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 76th minute, Daniel Zorita made a precise shot to the right of Łukasz Fabiański. Azulgranas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Agustín Saelices could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Łukasz Fabiański made a huge save. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 84 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Łukasz Fabiański narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Julio Vera was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
