Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Abram Sarmiento started the match with the kick off. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gino Moreira in the 3rd minute of play. Porvir FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Evandro Penha in the 6th minute. After 9 played minutes Porvir FC got a freekick which was hit by Zeca Alcântara. 14 minutes into the match, Porvir FC's goalkeeper João Augusto Soeiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Axel Montenegro. With an all-out effort, Colombia's João Augusto Soeiro threw himself towards the right post 18 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Abram Sarmiento, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 22 minutes into the match, Porvir FC's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Montenegro came free, but João Augusto Soeiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. João Augusto Soeiro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Axel Montenegro in the 25th minute. Axel Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Porvir FC's João Augusto Soeiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Porvir FC from getting a goal against them. After 30 minutes, Zeca Alcântara mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Porvir FC and the Colombia players grew even worse after the yellow card. Zeca Alcântara kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. In the 31st minute Abram Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Augusto Soeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 34 played minutes Porvir FC got a freekick which was hit by Christian Velloso. In the 35th minute of the match, Abram Sarmiento tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but João Augusto Soeiro saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. It was a well-played corner which Luis Cazalla managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Christian Velloso hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. When Luis Cazalla came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Colombia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luis Cazalla couldn't finish the play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gino Moreira to make the kick off. 59 minutes into the match, Axel Montenegro notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Porvir FC's João Augusto Soeiro. João Augusto Soeiro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. João Augusto Soeiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santino Seco in the 63rd minute of play. In the 68th minute, Axel Montenegro made a precise shot to the right of João Augusto Soeiro. Porvir FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Colombia's Abram Secada was substituted for Axel Montenegro. Porvir FC made a substitution. Anderson Prata replaced Evandro Penha. After a rather tough play, Porvir FC's Anderson Prata got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Pascual Carballar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Augusto Soeiro having to interfere. In the 79th minute, Claes Bjurström ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pedro Manzanares was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. In the 83rd minute, Santino Seco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodrigo Quirino in the 88th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Claes Bjurström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Claes Bjurström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Manzanares having to interfere. If Abram Secada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
