In the 4th minute, Frank Barros ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joaquin Gayoso was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Nana FC's Carolo Pirro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Seco in the 8th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Barros in the 13th minute of play forced Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Nana FC's Raúl de Almeida got a free kick in the 15th minute. After 16 minutes of play, Uruguay's Jaime Cazalla made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Carolo Pirro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Robert Ahlquist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Joaquin Gayoso made a huge save. Carolo Pirro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisco Seco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 27th minute of the match Uruguay got a corner. Nana FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jaime Cazalla ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Nana FC's goalie and right to Camilo Franco. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Nana FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Nana FC's Carolo Pirro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximiliano Escribano in the 27th minute of play. In the 30th match minute, Uruguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge Sainz to maneuver through the defense. When Nana FC's Celso Amaral in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Uruguay's goalie prevented a goal. Robert Ahlquist's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The wind increased when Robert Ahlquist made the kick off in the second half. Carolo Pirro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Maximiliano Escribano in the 56th minute. Francisco Seco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Carolo Pirro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alberto Gisbert kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Maximiliano Escribano charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Maximiliano Escribano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpected shot in the 89th minute by Francisco Seco got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Joaquin Gayoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celso Amaral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carolo Pirro made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Francisco Seco sent off a good shot on target. Nana FC succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Uruguay had controlled the match.
