Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Peder Alström took the kick off in the first half of the match. The supporters of INIXET BK booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luca Rouco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kent Näver took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luca Zorita got free with Kent Näver in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kent Näver made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Alberto Tafalla sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peder Alström in the 20th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kent Näver made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Alberto Tafalla sent off a good shot on target. Sören Gregersson scored 0-1 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dante Lacasa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Dante Lacasa came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by INIXET BK's Carl Kalfhage. But to his dismay, Carl Kalfhage quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 39th minute Facundo Cadaval shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kent Näver saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Mexico booed when INIXET BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tom Lövgren didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 42nd minute of the match Joel Gaona shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kent Näver showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Joel Gaona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Kent Näver made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Alberto Tafalla sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 46 minutes, Karl-Magnus Bergman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. INIXET BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Karl-Magnus Bergman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joel Gaona made a kick off. Kent Näver showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 62nd minute of play forced INIXET BK's goalkeeper Kent Näver to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 67th minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kent Näver saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mexico's Dante Lacasa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Mexico from getting a goal against them. Dante Lacasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carl Kalfhage in the 72nd minute. After 73 played minutes INIXET BK got a freekick which was hit by Peder Alström. In the 75th minute Sören Gregersson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hans Wallin kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Mexico's zone, Peder Alström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dante Lacasa came out of the goal and Peder Alström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kent Näver made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 91st minute of play. Dante Lacasa made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Carl Kalfhage sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the INIXET BK defense, Joel Gaona kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kent Näver. The INIXET BK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kent Näver should have stopped the shot. INIXET BK were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Mexico's much stronger midfield.
