In the 11th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 杨斌常 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Falso Valencia CF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After the first half Mexico were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joel Gaona to strike the kick off in the second half. 杨斌常 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 51st minute of the match. But to his dismay, 顾珂默 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Facundo Cadaval got free with 杨斌常 in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 杨斌常 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 69th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that 顾珂默's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dante Lacasa was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. 杨斌常 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alberto Tafalla in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck 杨斌常 prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mexico were awarded a corner in the 82th minute after Falso Valencia CF's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joel Gaona took the corner. The corner led to Mexico's Facundo Cadaval getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. 杨斌常 made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Lautaro Mancebo sent off a good shot on target. In the 85th minute, Lautaro Mancebo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mexico fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alberto Tafalla got free with 杨斌常 in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 90 minutes into the match, Mexico's Joel Gaona sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that 杨斌常 narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 92 minutes into the match, Falso Valencia CF's goal looked a bit too open when Luca Zorita came free, but 杨斌常 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When 顾珂默 came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Falso Valencia CF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 顾珂默 couldn't finish the play.
