Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Finlay Stair kicked off to start the match. Trent Cuevas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karlus Waugh, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Trent Cuevas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Finlay Stair in the 6th minute. Jarell Hill fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Trent Cuevas having to interfere. Trent Cuevas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karlus Waugh, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jarell Hill sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Trent Cuevas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Finlay Stair's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. Jaime Post charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jaime Post the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jaime Post kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Schalke 04's goalkeeper Trent Cuevas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. František Spousta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Demonde Jacobson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Jamaica getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Jamaall Padmore hit a great ball. When Kleanthis Kostakoglou came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the FC Schalke 04 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kleanthis Kostakoglou couldn't finish the play. When Leron Sale fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jamaica's protests and gave Leron Sale a yellow card for diving instead. Leron Sale kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. The supporters of FC Schalke 04 booed when Jamaica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kordal Duff didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Jamaica's Finlay Stair got a free kick in the 36th minute. Trent Cuevas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Finlay Stair in the 39th minute of the match. Jaime Post hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. If František Spousta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Finlay Stair in the 44th minute of play forced FC Schalke 04's goalkeeper Trent Cuevas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jamaica's Demonde Jacobson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kleanthis Kostakoglou in the 45th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

After 53 minutes of play, Jamaica's Finlay Stair made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Trent Cuevas was left in no man's land by his defense there! Kleanthis Kostakoglou fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Demonde Jacobson having to interfere. In the 60th minute Karlus Waugh shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Trent Cuevas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 61 minutes into the match, FC Schalke 04's goal looked a bit too open when Jarell Hill came free, but Trent Cuevas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jamaica's Romon Oliver got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, FC Schalke 04's Theron Craven got a free kick in the 63rd minute. After having played for 66 minutes, František Spousta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Schalke 04's supporters crossed their fingers, but František Spousta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Trent Cuevas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Finlay Stair's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. In the 69th minute, Romon Oliver got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jamaica's Romon Oliver got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Kleanthis Kostakoglou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Geroy Ascue hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Jamaall Padmore's late challenge caught a FC Schalke 04's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jamaall Padmore helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Jamaica getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Jamaall Padmore hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, František Spousta managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Schalke 04's supporters rose to their feet, but František Spousta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Demonde Jacobson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jamaica's Romon Oliver got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 91 minutes into the match, Karlus Waugh notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of FC Schalke 04's Trent Cuevas. Trent Cuevas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 97 minutes into the match, Percy Rios had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Demonde Jacobson. Jamaica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Percy Rios was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Jamaica's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
