Robert Davison showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Robert Davison stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Axel Montenegro's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. 24 minutes into the match, Sportivo Luan Toro's goal looked a bit too open when Abram Sarmiento came free, but Robert Davison reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Colombia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Manzanares should have stopped the shot. Sportivo Luan Toro's Benjamin Sundin quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Samuel Navarro, made in the 90th minute of the game. 91 minutes into the game, Martins Palermo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Pedro Manzanares was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
