Lekumberri Labarra's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Manzanares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. Pampas Team's Piorno Zamora played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kevin Mastache in the 8th minute of play. In the 8th minute Lekumberri Labarra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Antto Willman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Pedro Manzanares made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fredrik de Nooter in the 13th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 15th minute of the match Pampas Team got a corner. Colombia's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Nahitan Nández ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Isaac Echavarri got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Pedro Manzanares quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Pedro Manzanares made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Antto Willman sent off a good shot on target. Colombia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fredrik de Nooter was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. After 46 played minutes Colombia got a freekick which was hit by Kevin Mastache. In the 47th match minute, Pampas Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bautista Aballe to maneuver through the defense.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Abram Sarmiento stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Colombia's Axel Montenegro got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 53rd match minute, Colombia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orlando Tafalla to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Pampas Team booed when Colombia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orlando Tafalla didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 55th minute Nahitan Nández shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pampas Team's Nahitan Nández got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With an all-out effort, Colombia's Piorno Zamora threw himself towards the right post 69 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Abram Sarmiento, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After having played for 73 minutes, Antto Willman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pampas Team's supporters crossed their fingers, but Antto Willman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Colombia's Ignacio Mastache was substituted for Abram Sarmiento. Colombia's Abram Secada was substituted for Axel Montenegro. Pampas Team made a substitution. Feliz Lozano replaced Antto Willman.
