Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anselmo Bakar in the 22nd minute of play. 23 minutes in the game, Anselmo Bakar dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 32 minutes, Dante Lacasa successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. J.J J.J. showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Mexico's Dante Lacasa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Mexico from getting a goal against them. J.J J.J. made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Facundo Cadaval in the 45th minute of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Anselmo Bakar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Mexico's Facundo Cadaval slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of J.J J.J.. That made the score 0-1 after 70 minutes of play. In the 73rd minute of the match, Lautaro Mancebo got a very nice opportunity to score, but J.J J.J. was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. J.J J.J. took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 77th minute, Joel Gaona got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sc Ajax Hirtenberg made a substitution. Klaus-Dieter Gehlhaar replaced Osvaldo Lizer. When the match had gone on for 82 minutes, Anselmo Bakar put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Dante Lacasa.
