Czeslaw Gdowski who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 9thth minute tested the skills of Joaquin Gayoso when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The supporters of Uruguay booed when Fc Mylin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antoni Bugno didn't get a good kick on the ball. Teofil Penkalski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisco Seco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Jaime Cazalla managed to get in a good position for a shot. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Czeslaw Gdowski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Joaquin Gayoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zygmunt Rzegotka in the 51st minute of play. Fc Mylin's Richey Volle was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Joaquin Gayoso in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The corner ended in Richey Volle almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso did a great save. Uruguay's attentive Alberto Gisbert managed to snatch the ball when Jaroslaw Balkiewicz made a throw-in in the 60th minute of the game. Joaquin Gayoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Jaroszewicz in the 62nd minute of play. Fc Mylin's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Richey Volle in the 63rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Richey Volle in the 67th minute of play forced Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Uruguay's Bruno Beldad got a free kick in the 70th minute. Fc Mylin's Adam Buksa was substituted for Czeslaw Gdowski. Bruno Beldad hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. In the 75th minute, Richey Volle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Uruguay defense, Richey Volle kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. The Uruguay fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joaquin Gayoso should have stopped the shot. 82 minutes into the match, Wlodzimierz Kalak had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. Uruguay's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wlodzimierz Kalak was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Maximiliano Escribano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teofil Penkalski having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Daniel Jaroszewicz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fc Mylin's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Jaroszewicz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
