Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Ingemar Dusett started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 2 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Eliseo Noboa. When Hugo Ferrant fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Costa Rica's protests and gave Hugo Ferrant a yellow card for diving instead. Hugo Ferrant hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. In the 7th minute, Eliseo Noboa made a precise shot to the right of Robin Johansson. FC LauB's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 11 minutes into the game, Lautaro Puig cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Robin Johansson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Pål Isaksson took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Robin Johansson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aaron Alcocer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Robin Johansson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Tasis, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 30th minute, Lautaro Puig left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Costa Rica fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Robin Johansson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Tasis in the 35th minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Ingemar Dusett came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Juan Rubio made in the 44th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by FC LauB's Torbjörn Kollberg. Benito Sanz made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Pål Isaksson sent off a good shot on target.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Axel Tasis was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Tasis in the 53rd minute of play forced FC LauB's goalkeeper Robin Johansson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ingemar Dusett, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 64th minute Ingemar Dusett shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 67th minute Axel Tasis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robin Johansson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Costa Rica's Axel Tasis in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC LauB's goalie prevented a goal. Robin Johansson was a little too slow when Eliseo Noboa got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 70th minute. The score was now 1-4. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ingemar Dusett in the 77th minute of play. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sten Olofsson in the 80th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Alan Moruga got a free kick in the 87th minute. If Sten Olofsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Eliseo Noboa kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Robin Johansson. That made the score 1-5 in the 93 minute of play.
