Szolnoki MÁV's Mátyás Lisztes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patricio Costa in the 21st minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Emesto Muñagorri sent off a good shot on target. 27 minutes into the match, Emesto Muñagorri dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant, 1-0. In the 29th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mátyás Lisztes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mátyás Lisztes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Patricio Costa struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Lajos Keresztesi kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Roland Varga to strike the kick off in the second half. When Tomas Illescas fell near the penalty area in the 50th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Tomas Illescas a yellow card for diving instead. 53 minutes into the match, Szolnoki MÁV's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Mátyás Lisztes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 55th minute, Roland Varga left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Szolnoki MÁV fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Patricio Costa charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. A throw-in in the 64th minute of the game was made by András Herczegh with Lajos Keresztesi as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emesto Muñagorri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roland Varga, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. 72 minutes into the game, Jose Correa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Szolnoki MÁV the free kick. After 72 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roland Varga in the 76th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emesto Muñagorri in the 77th minute of play. Venezuela's Salvador Gisbert managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by András Herczegh in the 78 minute of the game. In the 81st minute, Gedeon Csákvári ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Venezuela's Patricio Costa got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Szolnoki MÁV's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
