Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jaime Pardo started the match with the kick off. A collision led to FK Partizan Beograd getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Živadin Gvozdenović hit a great ball. Jaime Pardo scored 0-1 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Boris Čović, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Paraguay's Jacobo Nores played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mitar Momić in the 19th minute of play. When Mitar Momić came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the FK Partizan Beograd fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mitar Momić couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Paraguay getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Alan Campos hit a great ball. Alan Campos's late challenge caught a FK Partizan Beograd's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alan Campos helped the player get up and apologised. In the 33rd minute, Alan Campos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FK Partizan Beograd's Živadin Gvozdenović couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Paraguay. If Jaime Pardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mitar Momić in the 48th minute of play forced Paraguay's goalkeeper Jacobo Nores to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The FK Partizan Beograd players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Paraguay were winning 0-1.

Boris Čović was out of position in the 51 minute of play, and Jaime Pardo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jaime Pardo really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. Slaven Ljubanović made in the 59th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Paraguay's Hector Covarrubias. Živadin Gvozdenović recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Paraguay's Primitivo Escribano got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Janča Sokolov's late challenge caught a Paraguay's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Janča Sokolov helped the player get up and apologised. After 76 played minutes FK Partizan Beograd got a freekick which was hit by Janča Sokolov. Boris Čović made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaime Pardo in the 77th minute of play. Jacobo Nores showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mitar Momić, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Hector Covarrubias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Boris Čović tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Živadin Gvozdenović recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Višeslav Putinčanin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The FK Partizan Beograd fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Paraguay were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
