Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Francisco Seco kicked off to start the match. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raymundo Schneider in the 5th minute of play. Willis Geiger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Seco, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. 12 minutes had been played when some careless play by Uruguay's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Reginald Knight was slow to take the kick. During this time Waterbury Rangers's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Salvatore Stanford almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso did a great save. Francisco Seco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Francisco Seco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Willis Geiger having to interfere. Francisco Seco scored 0-1 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Willis Geiger, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Francisco Seco struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Willis Geiger didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Uruguay. DeAngelo Keen's late challenge caught a Uruguay's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. DeAngelo Keen helped the player get up and apologised. After 35 played minutes Waterbury Rangers got a freekick which was hit by DeAngelo Keen. Willis Geiger came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Uruguay's Jaime Cazalla. But to his dismay, Jaime Cazalla quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Maximiliano Escribano struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Willis Geiger didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Uruguay. After 46 played minutes Waterbury Rangers's Stacy Colvin stole the ball from his opponents and shot the ball towards the upper left corner, but Joaquin Gayoso stretched himself as far as he could, and stopped the ball from passing the line. robbing Uruguay of the goal. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Stacy Colvin to make the kick off. If Maximiliano Escribano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 59th match minute, Waterbury Rangers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Justin Aranda to maneuver through the defense. Willis Geiger didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Francisco Seco went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. In the 63rd minute, Salvatore Stanford hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Uruguay's Jaime Cazalla shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 65th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Willis Geiger but with some difficulty. Willis Geiger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Gisbert in the 67th minute of play. Willis Geiger didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Maximiliano Escribano went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Willis Geiger came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Uruguay's Francisco Seco. But to his dismay, Francisco Seco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Francisco Seco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Willis Geiger made a huge save. Maximiliano Escribano might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Willis Geiger. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Maximiliano Escribano ran back to his position shaking his head. Andreas Carrey got a throw-in 83 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Salvatore Stanford. 84 minutes into the game, Francisco Seco recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Willis Geiger. Francisco Seco showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. Alberto Gisbert recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 89th match minute, Waterbury Rangers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Salvatore Stanford to maneuver through the defense. 90 minutes into the game, Francisco Seco recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Willis Geiger. Francisco Seco showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-7. The audience was convinced that Francisco Seco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Willis Geiger was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Waterbury Rangers's zone, Camilo Franco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Willis Geiger came out of the goal and Camilo Franco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Uruguay's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
