Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Edmundo Espiga started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edson Nascimento in the 4th minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 5th minute, Shen Xun left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The KARŞIYAKA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. If Edmundo Espiga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Emre Kurtuluş came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Honduras's Edmundo Espiga. But to his dismay, Edmundo Espiga quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. If Edmundo Espiga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 16 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Furkan Aktan came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Honduras's Luca Espinar managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Gencay Türker in the 19 minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in KARŞIYAKA's zone, Edmundo Espiga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emre Kurtuluş came out of the goal and Edmundo Espiga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Emre Kurtuluş made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 32nd minute of play. 40 minutes into the game, Honduras's Edmundo Espiga nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Emre Kurtuluş made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. A hard shot by Furkan Aktan from long distance, 46 minutes into the match, got Lautaro Navarro's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The wind increased when Edson Nascimento made the kick off in the second half. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Onur Övünç in the 54th minute of play. Emre Kurtuluş showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Moises Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edmundo Espiga got free with Emre Kurtuluş in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 72nd minute, Edmundo Espiga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Emre Kurtuluş made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 75th minute. In the 79thth minute of the game Edmundo Espiga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KARŞIYAKA's Emre Kurtuluş was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 81st minute, Edmundo Espiga left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Honduras fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. In the 86th minute of the game Gencay Türker made a throw-in which Binali Baysal played forward. Luca Espinar hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Lautaro Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Onur Övünç in the 91st minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Edson Nascimento managed to get in a good position for a shot. KARŞIYAKA's supporters rose to their feet, but Edson Nascimento was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lautaro Navarro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Edson Nascimento scored 2-4 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lautaro Navarro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Honduras supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Honduras would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
