After 5 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Aaron Barrios. A collision led to KARŞIYAKA getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Eşref Tülün hit a great ball. KARŞIYAKA's Emre Kurtuluş played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Berganza in the 7th minute of play. 9 minutes into the game, Panama's Tomas Berganza nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Emre Kurtuluş made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 14th minute, Abraham Alguacil ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Emre Kurtuluş was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Panama's defense didn't have a chance, in the 18th minute, when Edson Nascimento scored to the left of an out of position Marcos Cotilla, making the score, 1-2. Felipe Ros hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. KARŞIYAKA's Emre Kurtuluş played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Berganza in the 27th minute of play. In the 31st minute Edson Nascimento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. KARŞIYAKA's Emre Kurtuluş played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Berganza in the 34th minute of play. Tomas Berganza struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Emre Kurtuluş didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Panama. When the match clock showed 40 minutes, the score became 2-3 when Onur Övünç sped through Panama's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Marcos Cotilla. After 45 minutes of play, Panama's Tomas Berganza made it 2-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Emre Kurtuluş was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 2-4.

The wind increased when Edson Nascimento made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Panama booed when KARŞIYAKA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Furkan Aktan didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 53rd minute Shen Xun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomas Berganza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Emre Kurtuluş showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Berganza in the 56th minute of the match. 63 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Shen Xun came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Tomas Berganza kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Emre Kurtuluş. That made the score 2-6 in the 69 minute of play. 71 minutes into the match, Abraham Alguacil notched a goal, 2-7, to the right of KARŞIYAKA's Emre Kurtuluş. Emre Kurtuluş was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tomas Berganza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 79 minutes, Tomas Berganza made it 2-8 with a short kick to the right side. KARŞIYAKA's Emre Kurtuluş tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Abraham Alguacil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emre Kurtuluş having to interfere. If Isidoro Sarmiento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 87th match minute, KARŞIYAKA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gencay Türker to maneuver through the defense. 89 minutes into the game, KARŞIYAKA's Shen Xun nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcos Cotilla made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-8. In the 93rd minute, KARŞIYAKA's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Tomas Berganza fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The KARŞIYAKA supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Panama's performance. The match ended with a win for Panama.
