Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Karol Czeszejko started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 4th minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Svante Julin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Villiam Hedbom fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dante Lacasa having to interfere. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karol Czeszejko in the 32nd minute of play. Mexico's Joel Gaona was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Svante Julin in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Dante Lacasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Martin Arab in the 39th minute. Svante Julin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Villiam Hedbom in the 44th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Joel Gaona made the kick off in the second half. In the 50th minute, Luca Zorita hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonatan Olenberg hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Joel Gaona could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Svante Julin made a huge save. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karol Czeszejko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 59 minutes had been played when some careless play by Robíño Football Club's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. 64 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Martin Arab came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 74 minutes into the match, Robíño Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Luca Zorita came free, but Svante Julin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Arab in the 77th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Robíño Football Club fans cheered their team off the field, for while Mexico had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
