When the match clock showed 23 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Börje Bergfelt sped through Venezuela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Alberto Tombak took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Börje Bergfelt in the 40th minute of play. When the match clock showed 42 minutes, the score became 0-8 when Börje Bergfelt sped through Venezuela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-8 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Tomas Illescas made the kick off in the second half. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Börje Bergfelt in the 62nd minute. Jonathan Ferrant was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ed 冯义凡 showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-10 in the 66 minute of play. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Alberto Tombak tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 92nd minute, Patricio Costa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 【粤】快乐的七七 played a much better game than Venezuela and deserved their victory. The Venezuela players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
