In the 9th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Correa to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Kent Vinström took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Jonathan Ferrant to make any attempt to save it. Luís Diaz kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Rudolf Pisarčík showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 18th minute of the match. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Alex Chicote hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luís Diaz got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Camilo Gaos got a free kick in the 33rd minute. The supporters of Venezuela booed when FC Dlha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jozef Koščo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 43rd match minute, FC Dlha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ján Hnilica to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of FC Dlha booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guillermo Mariano didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Luís Diaz made the kick off in the second half. When the match clock showed 51 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Luís Diaz sped through Venezuela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Illescas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rudolf Pisarčík breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 60 minutes into the game, FC Dlha's Luís Diaz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. 63 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Diaz came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rudolf Pisarčík made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 66th minute of play. Jose Correa's late challenge caught a FC Dlha's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jose Correa helped the player get up and apologised. In the 70th minute, Jose Correa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tomas Illescas shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Diaz, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Rudolf Pisarčík showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 79th minute of the match. In the 81st minute, Jozef Hološko made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Patricio Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 87th minute, Kent Vinström left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Dlha fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tomas Illescas struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Rudolf Pisarčík didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela.
