Faker FC's Edward Hajto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 7th minute of play. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Klement Cieslak tried to sneak it across the goal line. 11 minutes into the match, Faker FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Edward Hajto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 12 minutes Faker FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Edward Hajto in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Faker FC's Edward Hajto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 15th minute of play. After 21 played minutes Faker FC got a freekick which was hit by Maciej Cichocki. If Agustín Saelices had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maciej Cichocki in the 26th minute of play. When Faker FC's Milosz Drzewucki, in the 26th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Faker FC. Edward Hajto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luis Andino went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Milosz Drzewucki did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-1 to the left of a surprised Julio Vera 35 minutes into the match. Edward Hajto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agustín Saelices, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edward Hajto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Felix Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. Felix Montenegro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Edward Hajto made a huge save. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Edward Hajto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edward Hajto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 58th minute. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute.
