Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) In the 2nd minute Abraham Alguacil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolae Ghiorman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 5th minute, Romeo Berceanu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Marcos Cotilla. The goal made the score 1-0. After 9 minutes of play, Panama's Tomas Berganza made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nicolae Ghiorman was left in no man's land by his defense there! Panama's Tomas Berganza got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 17th minute Isidoro Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolae Ghiorman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 18th minute Tomas Berganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolae Ghiorman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 21 minutes into the match, Poli AEK's goal looked a bit too open when Isidoro Sarmiento came free, but Nicolae Ghiorman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nicolae Ghiorman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Berganza in the 24th minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Zafer Fırat came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Isidoro Sarmiento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicolae Ghiorman having to interfere. Nicolae Ghiorman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abraham Alguacil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Poli AEK's Nicolae Ghiorman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Berganza in the 31st minute of play. Marcos Cotilla was out of position in the 36 minute of play, and Wictor Brovall capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Wictor Brovall really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. 40 minutes into the game, Panama's Tomas Berganza nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nicolae Ghiorman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Berganza in the 43rd minute of play forced Poli AEK's goalkeeper Nicolae Ghiorman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, Poli AEK's Marcos Cotilla threw himself towards the right post 44 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Zafer Fırat, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 倪凌宁 hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Wictor Brovall was the one to do the kick off. If Isidoro Sarmiento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. It was a well-played corner which Miguel Miralles managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Panama's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Abraham Alguacil in the 61st minute. 66 minutes into the game, Isidoro Sarmiento was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Panama's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Poli AEK the free kick. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Isidoro Sarmiento hit a great ball. Tomas Berganza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nicolae Ghiorman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Berganza in the 72nd minute of play forced Poli AEK's goalkeeper Nicolae Ghiorman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 74 played minutes Poli AEK got a freekick which was hit by Romeo Berceanu. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Berganza in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nicolae Ghiorman saved Poli AEK from getting behind. Marcos Cotilla came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Poli AEK's Wictor Brovall. But to his dismay, Wictor Brovall quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. In the 87th minute, Poli AEK's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Miguel Miralles fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After having played for 90 minutes, Tomas Berganza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Panama's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Berganza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nicolae Ghiorman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abraham Alguacil in the 93rd minute. Panama's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Abraham Alguacil in the 94th minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Poli AEK had won after a very even match.
