Dave Alcock's 郑鹏誉 was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ricardo Zorita in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 25th match minute, El Salvador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marco Tamayo to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, El Salvador's Jesus Carvallo got a free kick in the 29th minute. When 邱卫烽 came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Dave Alcock fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 邱卫烽 couldn't finish the play. In the 32nd play minute 黄荣鸿 came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Ricardo Zorita. 1-0. El Salvador's Moises Fernandino got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 龙潮崇 made in the 43rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by El Salvador's Valentino Ferrant. 郑鹏誉 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Moises Fernandino made a kick off. Ricardo Zorita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 郑鹏誉 in the 53rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, 黄荣鸿 managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dave Alcock's supporters rose to their feet, but 黄荣鸿 was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ricardo Zorita breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 72nd minute, Marco Tamayo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 74th minute, 邱卫烽 made a precise shot to the right of Ricardo Zorita. El Salvador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. If 邱卫烽 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ricardo Zorita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 黄荣鸿, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. El Salvador's Mateo Leguizamo shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 83rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by 杜战源 but with some difficulty. In the 88th minute 邱卫烽 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Zorita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ricardo Zorita came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Dave Alcock's 黄荣鸿. But to his dismay, 黄荣鸿 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Moises Fernandino kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the Dave Alcock players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
