The supporters of Canada booed when Курск ФК was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Froilan Sol didn't get a good kick on the ball. The excitement rose when Canada's Koby Wright after 33 played minutes turned away three defenders near the goal, and after that shot a ball that was too difficult for Курск ФК's goalkeeper to hold. Score! 1-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Koby Wright in the 38th minute of play forced Курск ФК's goalkeeper Frutos Mallo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
