Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. But to his dismay, Benjamin Stark quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Patricio Costa struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Benjamin Blixt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vilgot Sandberg in the 11th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 20 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Costa. Ulf Olofsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. 25 minutes into the match, KD Stiger's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Benjamin Blixt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Patricio Costa hit a great ball. Benjamin Blixt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 28th minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Ulf Olofsson sent off a good shot on target. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to KD Stiger getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Arvin Falck hit a great ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Illescas to make the kick off. Tomas Illescass short, quick shot in the 54thth minute got Benjamin Blixt to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 58th minute Ulf Olofsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 59th minute, Jose Correa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tomas Illescas's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Benjamin Blixt firmly grabbed it by the left post. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Jose Correa hit a great ball. KD Stiger's Ulf Olofsson got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 69th minute, Bo Almqvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Benjamin Blixt made a huge save. Ernst Asmundsson kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Benjamin Blixt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulf Olofsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Benjamin Blixt made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. In the 87th minute, Vilgot Sandberg made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Venezuela's attentive Patricio Costa managed to snatch the ball when Ernst Asmundsson made a throw-in in the 93rd minute of the game. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. For all the effort they put into the match, the Venezuela players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for KD Stiger.
