Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Marin Giubelean made the kick off which started today's match. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marin Giubelean, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. 6 minutes into the match, Cambaratiba's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Stanislaw Lichucki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 11 minutes into the game, Cambaratiba's Marin Giubelean nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julio Vera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marin Giubelean in the 14th minute of play. Felix Montes's late challenge caught a Cambaratiba's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Felix Montes helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Felix Montes hit a great ball. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marin Giubelean in the 24th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Zorita in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Stanislaw Lichucki saved Cambaratiba from getting behind. Marin Giubelean's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Marin Giubelean kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Julio Vera. That made the score 2-0 in the 27 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 31st minute of play forced Cambaratiba's goalkeeper Stanislaw Lichucki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stanislaw Lichucki didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Zorita went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. In the 37th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stanislaw Lichucki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 38 played minutes Cambaratiba got a freekick which was hit by Tomás Madruga. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marin Giubelean, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marin Giubelean's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Marin Giubelean stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Marin Giubelean tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Cambaratiba's Stanislaw Lichucki got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. With his leg Stanislaw Lichucki managed to avoid a goal in the 57thth minute, when Ecuador's Daniel Zorita fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marin Giubelean in the 60th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 61st minute, Juan Sebastián Puig ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Stanislaw Lichucki was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Stanislaw Lichucki made a huge save. Agustín Saelices recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yuri Zanette kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Marin Giubelean stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Marin Giubelean tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Stanislaw Lichucki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves Cristian Sancho could shoot a difficult shot in the 85th minute, which Stanislaw Lichucki however easily saved by the left post. In the 86th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 89th match minute, Cambaratiba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yuri Zanette to maneuver through the defense. Cambaratiba's Marcus Aparecido was substituted for Marin Giubelean. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Cambaratiba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yuri Zanette didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 94th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Sebastián Puig to maneuver through the defense. Cambaratiba's Stanislaw Lichucki proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Cambaratiba from getting a goal against them. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Cambaratiba throughout the match.
