The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kjell Åkesson to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kjell Åkesson in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 97th minute, Kjell Åkesson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-8. The JKs Talanger players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
