In the 11th minute Chile were awarded a corner. Mariano Lacasa went to the cornerflag to take it. Mariano Lacasa made a great header on Chile's corner, it was just that FC Acatar's Diamantino Lobo managed to reach the ball for a save. Thanks to some nice moves Andrei Alexandrescu could shoot a difficult shot in the 13th minute, which Thiago Pliego however easily saved by the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mariano Lacasa in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Diamantino Lobo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 28th minute of play forced FC Acatar's goalkeeper Diamantino Lobo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andrei Alexandrescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. With a little luck, Chile's Thiago Pliego got control of the ball when Andrei Alexandrescu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mariano Lacasa took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Diamantino Lobo. Diamantino Lobo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 36th minute, Claudiu Fecioru ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Thiago Pliego was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Diamantino Lobo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 40th minute of the match. Diamantino Lobo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. The supporters of FC Acatar booed when Chile was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Indiano didn't get a good kick on the ball.

After 51 played minutes Chile got a freekick which was hit by Alan Tamayo. 53 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Lv Yu came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudiu Fecioru in the 66th minute of play. In the 68th minute, Ştefan Grama hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Chile booed when FC Acatar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gigi Junilă didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 76th minute, Mariano Lacasa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Diamantino Lobo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. Gerardo Pozo kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. In the 80th minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diamantino Lobo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Chile walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
