After a rather tough play, Hvam FC's Ataol Toprak got a free kick in the 2nd minute. 6 minutes into the match, Hvam FC's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Kristen Krasmer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hvam FC's Kristen Krasmer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 16th minute of play. Kristen Krasmer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Luque, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 21st minute Bruno Guimarães shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Stephan Isager came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, Hvam FC's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Kristen Krasmer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kristen Krasmer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 33rd minute of the match. Mexico's Dante Lacasa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Mexico from getting a goal against them. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Stephan Isager to make the kick off. The supporters of Mexico booed when Hvam FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Michel Larsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by Joel Gaona in the 51st minute really tested Kristen Krasmer's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruno Guimarães in the 52nd minute of the match. Alberto Tafalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Kristen Krasmer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stephan Isager took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Bruno Guimarães hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pompílio Pegacho in the 65th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kristen Krasmer was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lautaro Mancebo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Kristen Krasmer came out and tried to block the shot, but Lautaro Mancebo slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 87th minute. After having played for 89 minutes, Lautaro Mancebo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lautaro Mancebo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kristen Krasmer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. After 91 minutes of play, Mexico's Joel Gaona made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kristen Krasmer was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mexico's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
