In the 8th minute Felix Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rune Vacker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rune Vacker showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Andino, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. The supporters of Ecuador booed when FC NILS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thomas Näver didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the FC NILS defense, Cristian Sancho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rune Vacker. The FC NILS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rune Vacker should have stopped the shot. Rune Vacker showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. In the 19th minute, Daniel Zorita made a precise shot to the right of Rune Vacker. FC NILS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 24th minute of play forced FC NILS's goalkeeper Rune Vacker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 33 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Rune Vacker was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Zorita to strike the kick off in the second half. Felix Montenegro who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 51stth minute tested the skills of Rune Vacker when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ludwig Winström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in FC NILS's zone, Felix Montenegro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rune Vacker came out of the goal and Felix Montenegro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cristian Sancho took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rune Vacker. Rune Vacker dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Rune Vacker tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rune Vacker showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 63rd minute of the match. In the 65th minute, Daniel Zorita made a precise shot to the right of Rune Vacker. FC NILS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. Rune Vacker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 70th minute of play. When the match clock showed 72 minutes, the score became 0-7 when Daniel Zorita sped through FC NILS's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rune Vacker. The crowd rose to their feet as Cristian Sancho kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Rune Vacker. That made the score 0-8 in the 80 minute of play. Rune Vacker made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 85th minute. A well done corner resulted in Cristian Sancho drilling the ball in to score 0-9 behind FC NILS's goalkeeper. Agustín Saelices fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rune Vacker having to interfere. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rune Vacker came out and tried to block the shot, but Cristian Sancho slotted it home off the left post making it 0-10 in the 90th minute. In the 96th minute, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Rune Vacker. Rune Vacker yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-11. Ecuador played a much better game than FC NILS and deserved their victory. The FC NILS players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
