Lorenzo Cazalla charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lorenzo Cazalla the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 12 minutes into the match, Pajala Sunrise's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Cholachat Coolcat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 13th minute Mexico were awarded a corner. Joel Gaona went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Lautaro Mancebo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Cholachat Coolcat quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The supporters of Pajala Sunrise booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonardo Leoz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cholachat Coolcat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 18th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, Lautaro Mancebo notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Pajala Sunrise's Cholachat Coolcat. Cholachat Coolcat was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 王 江志锋 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Dante Lacasa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Pajala Sunrise's Karl-Oskar Högman got a free kick in the 29th minute. After some careless play in the Pajala Sunrise defense, Lautaro Mancebo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cholachat Coolcat. The Pajala Sunrise fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cholachat Coolcat should have stopped the shot. Pajala Sunrise's Cholachat Coolcat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 33rd minute of play. Lautaro Mancebo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Joel Gaona managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Joel Gaona was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cholachat Coolcat breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cholachat Coolcat didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Joel Gaona went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Lautaro Mancebo took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cholachat Coolcat. Cholachat Coolcat dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. Doug Las Casas received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dante Lacasa came out and tried to block the shot, but Doug Las Casas slotted it home off the left post making it 2-4 in the 47th minute. Disappointed in the 2-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joel Gaona was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Pajala Sunrise's defense didn't have a chance, in the 56th minute, when Lautaro Mancebo scored to the left of an out of position Cholachat Coolcat, making the score, 2-5. Lautaro Mancebo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 59thth minute tested the skills of Cholachat Coolcat when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Pajala Sunrise's zone, Lautaro Mancebo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cholachat Coolcat came out of the goal and Lautaro Mancebo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Joel Gaona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Pajala Sunrise's Cholachat Coolcat got control of the ball when Lautaro Mancebo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pajala Sunrise's Stefan Lindholm was substituted for Sebastian Tolsson. Pajala Sunrise made a substitution. Roger Heggert replaced Doug Las Casas. Pajala Sunrise made a substitution. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Mancebo got free with Cholachat Coolcat in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lautaro Mancebo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cholachat Coolcat having to interfere. In the 90th match minute, Pajala Sunrise was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ingvar Lindqvist to maneuver through the defense. In the 91st minute of the match, Lautaro Mancebo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Cholachat Coolcat was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Joel Gaona blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cholachat Coolcat having to make a save. In the 96th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cholachat Coolcat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Pajala Sunrise fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Mexico were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
