Venezuela's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 17th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Basarab Baldovinescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ioan Andone blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 19 played minutes The North Face got a freekick which was hit by 曹森适. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 曹森适, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Cazimir Vidican got a throw-in 31 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Ioan Andone. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Basarab Baldovinescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 34th minute of play. When Cazimir Vidican fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored The North Face's protests and gave Cazimir Vidican a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Venezuela booed when The North Face was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cazimir Vidican didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 37th match minute, The North Face was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cazimir Vidican to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the The North Face defense, Tomas Illescas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Basarab Baldovinescu. The The North Face fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Basarab Baldovinescu should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by 曹森适 in the 42nd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The North Face's Basarab Baldovinescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 43rd minute of play. Vladimiro Munita kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. After the first half Venezuela were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Jonathan Venegas hit a great ball. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benedict Mata, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 60 minutes of play, The North Face's 曹森适 made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! 曹森适 took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. 67 minutes into the match, Tomas Illescas notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of The North Face's Basarab Baldovinescu. Basarab Baldovinescu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ioan Andone went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. 76 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when 曹森适 came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 77 minutes had been played when some careless play by Venezuela's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mugurel Bleoancă was slow to take the kick. During this time The North Face's players had a chance to rest. Mugurel Bleoancă made a great header on The North Face's corner, it was just that Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant managed to reach the ball for a save. Patricio Costa hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Tomas Illescas might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Basarab Baldovinescu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Illescas ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 87 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If 曹森适 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Vladimiro Munita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
