After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kenn Fronval breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 31 minutes into the match, AB Tårnby's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Kenn Fronval reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kenn Fronval took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. AB Tårnby's Kenn Fronval played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 37th minute of play. Kenn Fronval showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agustín Saelices in the 39th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Gustaf Tiede made the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Gisbert. Though ot was a great shot AB Tårnby's keeper Kenn Fronval was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. AB Tårnby's defense didn't have a chance, in the 89th minute, when Cristian Sancho scored to the left of an out of position Kenn Fronval, making the score, 0-2. Agustín Saelices charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Agustín Saelices the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Agustín Saelices got a free kick in the 91st minute.
