Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Doug Las Casas started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Cholachat Coolcat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 19th minute, Pajala Sunrise's 王 江志锋 dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. If Doug Las Casas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cholachat Coolcat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ingvar Lindqvist kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Cholachat Coolcat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Andino in the 38th minute of play. Stig Larsson kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Cholachat Coolcat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 42nd minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when 王 江志锋 came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Cholachat Coolcat didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. 60 minutes into the match, 王 江志锋 had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that 王 江志锋 was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. 63 minutes into the match, Pajala Sunrise's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Cholachat Coolcat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 王 江志锋, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pajala Sunrise's Roger Heggert was substituted for Doug Las Casas. 72 minutes into the match, Pajala Sunrise's Johannes Friberger sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 76 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Primitivo Andino. In the 78th minute, Johannes Friberger ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Cholachat Coolcat came out and tried to block the shot, but Cristian Sancho slotted it home off the left post making it 3-2 in the 82nd minute. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stig Larsson hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cholachat Coolcat breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Pajala Sunrise players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
