In the 9th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Moraes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Camilo Gaos hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. If Esteban Ignado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stefan Mathiassen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tomas Illescas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hugo Moraes having to make a save. FRANK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Venezuela the free kick. Hugo Moraes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Costa in the 55th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Esteban Ignado in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Patricio Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 66 minutes into the match, Stefan Mathiassen notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to FRANK getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Wout Gheysen hit a great ball. Esteban Ignado took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Stefan Mathiassen might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Stefan Mathiassen ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Jonathan Venegas hit a great ball. With a little luck, FRANK's Hugo Moraes got control of the ball when Tomas Illescas tried to sneak it across the goal line. 82 minutes into the game, FRANK's Roald Engebakken nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Håvard Levang in the 90th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FRANK's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Stefan Mathiassen in the 91st minute. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Håvard Levang in the 92nd minute of play. 96 minutes into the game, FRANK's Steve Yzerman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. FRANK's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
