The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Ilgaz Aydoğan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Pedro Manzanares made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Ilgaz Aydoğan sent off a good shot on target. The throw-in from Antonio Indiano in the 12th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Facopo FBPA's Duda Cordeiro. Facopo FBPA's Osvaldinho Moreno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santino Seco in the 16th minute of play. After 18th play minutes Axel Montenegro shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Osvaldinho Moreno and just under the crossbar into goal. After having played for 20 minutes, Abram Sarmiento managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Colombia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abram Sarmiento was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 29th minute of play forced Facopo FBPA's goalkeeper Osvaldinho Moreno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Osvaldinho Moreno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santino Seco in the 31st minute of the match. Osvaldinho Moreno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santino Seco in the 33rd minute of play. 37 minutes into the match, Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zhivko Húntev. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 43rd minute of play forced Facopo FBPA's goalkeeper Osvaldinho Moreno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Osvaldinho Moreno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Colombia's Pascual Carballar quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Duda Cordeiro, made in the 47th minute of the game. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Duda Cordeiro during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 51st match minute, Facopo FBPA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Duda Cordeiro to maneuver through the defense. In the 54th minute Santino Seco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osvaldinho Moreno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Facopo FBPA's Osvaldinho Moreno got control of the ball when Santino Seco tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pedro Manzanares stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zhivko Húntev's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. During the 91st minute of the match Duda Cordeiro completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Duda Cordeiro a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. 95 minutes into the game, Kevin Mastache cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Osvaldinho Moreno was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Colombia's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
