Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) An unexpectedly hard shot by Ismael Furlan in the 6th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ismael Furlan in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. 11 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tor Echegoyen. Momentum FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristian Sancho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Tor Echegoyen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 14th minute of the match. Ismael Furlan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 19th minute, Juan Sebastián Puig had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. After 19 minutes, Arni Urb mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Momentum FC and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ecuador made a substitution. Max Alvarado replaced Juan Sebastián Puig. 25 minutes into the match, Momentum FC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Tor Echegoyen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28thth minute of the game Daniel Zorita who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Momentum FC's Tor Echegoyen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 31 minutes into the game, Momentum FC's Ismael Furlan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julio Vera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Tor Echegoyen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Montenegro in the 38th minute of play. Eliseo Martxel hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. 43 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tor Echegoyen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Arni Urb was shown his second yellow card after 47 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 47th match minute, Momentum FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arni Urb to maneuver through the defense. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tor Echegoyen made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. The referee felt a red card was in order, 67 minutes into the game, when Lucas Baladi put in a rough tackle. Momentum FC made a substitution. Vincent Abubakar replaced Ismael Furlan. Tor Echegoyen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felix Montenegro in the 75th minute. Momentum FC's Tor Echegoyen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Momentum FC from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tor Echegoyen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 88th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tor Echegoyen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 89 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Sancho. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Tor Echegoyen made a huge save. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Momentum FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliseo Martxel didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Momentum FC throughout the match.
