Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Doychin Malamov, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gerasim Vitov was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Illescas in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Grigor Gerchev saved ФК ОВЕЧ from getting behind. When Tomas Illescas fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Tomas Illescas a yellow card for diving instead. Tomas Illescas hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. In the 98th minute, Venezuela's Patricio Costa dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-4. Venezuela's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
