Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Tory Pryor kicked off to start the match. When Chile's Mariano Lacasa in the 3rd minute got a chance for a shot 3rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Wil 1900's goalie prevented a goal. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lionel Paly read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orlando Casaus in the 7th minute of play forced FC Wil 1900's goalkeeper Lionel Paly to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Philipp Santagapita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thiago Pliego having to interfere. In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Wil 1900's goalkeeper Lionel Paly, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Lionel Paly showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. The supporters of FC Wil 1900 booed when Chile was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orlando Casaus didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thiago Pliego made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pirmin Jäggi in the 12th minute. 20 minutes into the match, FC Wil 1900's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Lionel Paly reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Chile's Thiago Pliego got control of the ball when Pirmin Jäggi tried to sneak it across the goal line. With an all-out effort, FC Wil 1900's Thiago Pliego threw himself towards the right post 22 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Téo Rosa, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Mariano Lacasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mariano Lacasa might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lionel Paly. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mariano Lacasa ran back to his position shaking his head. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Téo Rosa, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. After a rather tough play, Chile's Alan Tamayo got a free kick in the 38th minute. FC Wil 1900's Lionel Paly played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 41st minute of play. In the 42nd minute, Francisco Carballar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Téo Rosa got in the 43rd minute the ball and tried a long shot which scored to the left of Thiago Pliego and thus it was 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in FC Wil 1900's zone, Mariano Lacasa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lionel Paly came out of the goal and Mariano Lacasa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

If Ivan Dové had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 50th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mariano Lacasa got free with Lionel Paly in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 66th minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lionel Paly saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emery Heller in the 69th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Chile's Mariano Lacasa got a free kick in the 69th minute. Mariano Lacasa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Lionel Paly made a huge save. In the 78th minute Tory Pryor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tory Pryor in the 83rd minute of play.
