In the 18th minute, Yani Futlev fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Jonathan Ferrant, passed just outside the right post. Juan Estevon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 19th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Yani Futlev in the 20th minute. Tzvetoslav Chalúmov made in the 28th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Ilcho Golomehov immediately put the ball in play. In the 30th minute, Joshua Secada hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 32 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Yani Futlev. ФК ОВЕЧ's supporters rose to their feet, but Ilcho Golomehov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ilcho Golomehov to make the kick off. Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Juan Estevon made a huge save. Yani Futlev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. ФК ОВЕЧ's Nikolay Momchilov was substituted for Ilcho Golomehov. After some careless play in the ФК ОВЕЧ defense, Tomas Illescas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Juan Estevon. The ФК ОВЕЧ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Juan Estevon should have stopped the shot. Nikolay Momchilov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tomas Illescas kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. ФК ОВЕЧ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Pencho Beshovishki in the 66th minute. The corner ended in Pencho Beshovishki almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant did a great save. 67 minutes into the game, Metodi Sheyretov cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yani Futlev in the 74th minute of the match. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Metodi Sheyretov couldn't finish the play. Tzvetoslav Chalúmov hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. ФК ОВЕЧ walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
