Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Daniel Zorita took the kick off in the first half of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Zorita in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Karsten Zielinski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 4th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Balus Treter's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 9th minute, Gottlieb Hammer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Karsten Zielinski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 12th minute of play. Karsten Zielinski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 21st minute of the match. After some careless play in the Balus Treter defense, Cristian Sancho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Karsten Zielinski. The Balus Treter fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Karsten Zielinski should have stopped the shot. 29 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Karsten Zielinski. Balus Treter's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristian Sancho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. A collision led to Balus Treter getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Vilhelm Trulsson hit a great ball. Karsten Zielinski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Balus Treter's Karsten Zielinski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 45th minute of play. 47 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Karsten Zielinski. Balus Treter's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Zorita was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gottlieb Hammer to make the kick off. In the 55th minute Gottlieb Hammer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Balus Treter were awarded a corner in the 56th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Elivélton Tavares took the corner. The corner ended in Elivélton Tavares almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ecuador's Julio Vera did a great save. After having played for 58 minutes, Gottlieb Hammer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Balus Treter's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gottlieb Hammer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 61st minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Balus Treter was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lukas Prielhofer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gottlieb Hammer struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Balus Treter. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gottlieb Hammer, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Karsten Zielinski in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 81 minutes into the match, Balus Treter's goalkeeper Karsten Zielinski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 83th minute after Balus Treter's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Karsten Zielinski in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 85th minute, Primitivo Andino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Julio Vera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Despite being the better team, Ecuador failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
