Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Francisco Seco took the kick off in the first half of the match. Marcelo Paraibano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximiliano Escribano in the 11th minute of play. When Alberto Gisbert came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Uruguay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alberto Gisbert couldn't finish the play. Florencio Mouricio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Camilo Covarrubias fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Uruguay's protests and gave Camilo Covarrubias a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Sportkarelclub FC booed when Uruguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Covarrubias didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joaquin Gayoso was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Damian Lerych. In the 34th minute, Francisco Seco made a precise shot to the right of Marcelo Paraibano. Sportkarelclub FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Marcelo Paraibano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximiliano Escribano in the 38th minute of the match. 45 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goal looked a bit too open when Florencio Mouricio came free, but Joaquin Gayoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Sportkarelclub FC's zone, Maximiliano Escribano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcelo Paraibano came out of the goal and Maximiliano Escribano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Damian Lerych stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alberto Gisbert kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Joaquin Gayoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florencio Mouricio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Sportkarelclub FC's Marcelo Paraibano got control of the ball when Maximiliano Escribano tried to sneak it across the goal line. Maximiliano Escribano scored 2-2 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcelo Paraibano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 64thth minute of the game Florencio Mouricio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Sportkarelclub FC booed when Uruguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Covarrubias didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Damian Lerych in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joaquin Gayoso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marcelo Paraibano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Maximiliano Escribano's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. Joaquin Gayoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damian Lerych in the 90th minute of play. Marcelo Paraibano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximiliano Escribano in the 91st minute of play. After 94 played minutes Sportkarelclub FC got a freekick which was hit by Hernan Hernandez. Sportkarelclub FC succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Uruguay had controlled the match.
